	Welcome to Grand Traverse Academy

Grand Traverse Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students from preschool through grade 12. We opened in 2000 with a program based on Dr. William Glasser's Choice Theory and were declared a Glasser Quality School in 2005. Grand Traverse Academy is authorized by Lake Superior State University and is a member of the Michigan Association of Public School Academies (MAPSA).

Friday, February 12 - Family Fun & Fitness Fair, 4:30-7:30 pm, Both Gyms and Elementary Classrooms

Friday, February 12 - Used Book Sale, 4:30-7:30 pm (proceeds benefit the Mustang Spirit Team - donations gladly accepted in the Secondary Office)

Tuesday, February 16 - County Spelling Bee, 6:00 pm, Grand Traverse Academy's Big Gym

Friday, February 19 - National Honor Society Community Blood Drive, 12:30-4:00 pm, Multi-Purpose Room


	Announcements

EmbroidMe, our uniform supplier, is open from 7:30 am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday and by appointment evenings and Saturday mornings (call 932-0688). Prepaid orders may be delivered to your child at school at your request. EmbroidMe is located at Kids' Creek Marketplace, 1525 South Division, Traverse City.
