Elementary sports at Grand Traverse Academy are offered through TEAM (Traverse City Elementary Athletic Members), a non-profit volunteer organization created to provide athletic opportunities for area 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. TEAM sports include Cross Country, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball, Volleyball and Track & Field. Students receive notification of parent meetings prior to the beginning of each sport's season.

New to Mustang Athletics this year is Boys' Tennis through the YMCA for boys in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The season runs from the week of September 23- through the week of October 28.

It's not too late to register for Mustang Fun Run/Walk!  Skip, don't walk, to either GTA office with your Mustang Fun Run & Walk registration form! The event takes place on Tuesday, October 6 at 4:30 pm and includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new cross-country trail, a one-mile run/walk, a 5K run and a pasta dinner…all for just $5 per person or $25 per family (parents and children). Additional donations are welcome - proceeds benefit Mustang Athletics.
