Math-A-Thon (Helen Rought 922-5943): This event is a fundraiser. Students collect pledges and then take math fact assessments. Parents are needed to help distribute and grade the Math-A-Thon papers. Father-Daughter Dance (Maria Dean, 932-6909): This alternate-year event is a wonderful time for fathers (or stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles or other special men) to bond with their daughters. Parents are needed to help organize, set-up, monitor, and clean up afterwards. Mustang Stampede(Courtney Kipke 932-6932): The Family Fun Run/Walk is a fundraiser that promotes a healthy lifestyle and is open to all ages. Assistance is needed in securing sponsors, organizing, setting up and cleaning up after the event. Art in the Park (Mindy VanHouzen 932-6960): A family picnic in June for parents and students to enjoy the quality artwork done by GTA students through the year and listen student music performances. Help is needed in setting up the artwork and cleaning up afterwards. Talent Show: Each fall GTA students have the opportunity to display their many talents for their family and friends. Individuals are needed to help organize and set up this popular event. |
